Je suis classé dans quoi monsieur l'arbitre ?

Bonjour à tous.

J'ai beau avoir fouillé sur FFTA, et ici sur le forum, je ne trouve pas de réponses à mes questions.

Voilà maintenant 3 ans que je tire régulièrement en club, je commence à avoir envie de pointer le bout de mon nez dans quelques competitions régionales, peu importe le type (salle, campagne, 3D etc ...). Mais j'ai beau chercher, demander des infos à mon club, il m'est difficile de savoir dans quelle catégorie d'arc je vais me retrouver. Je tire avec un HOYT Gamemaster 2 à l'instinctif (sur tapis, prise de corde 3 doigts sous la flèche, pas de pianotage, pas de stab etc).

je ne suis donc pas arc poulie, pas classique, pas barebow, Je ne tire pas au longbow, donc pas arc droit ? Bref je suis perdu. 

J'ai lu qu'en IFAA il y avait une catégorie recurve mais arc bois.

Quelqu'un dans le même cas que moi qui fait un peu de competition ?

En FFTA c'est Arc Chasse, avant tu ne pouvais tirer qu'en prise Méditerranéenne, mais avec le nouveau règlement tu peux tirer 3 doigts en dessous à condition qu'ils restent en contact avec l'encoche (pas de pianotage). Il n'y a plus de poids imposé pour les flèches (avant c'était 30g mini).

Je crois qu'on ne trouve cette catégorie qu'en Nature et en 3D, pour les autres tirs tu devras t'inscrire dans une autre catégorie où ton arc respecte les caractéristiques.

Non, tu peux utiliser la poignée que tu veux dans cette catégorie (bois ou métal)

voir le règlement ci joint

Bowhunter - Recurve & Compound (B.H.) 

a. Bows, arrows, string and accessories shall be free from sight marks, blemishes and/or laminations which could be used for aiming. 

If such blemishes or markings are present on the window of the bow riser, the full length of the back of the window shall be covered with tape. 

b. The use of a levelling device is not permitted. 

c. No device of any type that may be used for sighting may be attached to the archer's equipment. Optical devices that assist the archer to obtain consistency in eye alignment and anchor point are not permitted. 

d. An adjustable arrow rest may be used to control the space between the arrow and the face of the bow window. The arrow rest shall not extend above the arrow. 

(Exec Note: parts of the arrow rest that are considered necessary for the proper functioning of such arrow rest may extend above the arrow, especially in the event of very thin arrows. e.g. Stick-on plate, pressure button, spacer, etc.) 

e. No draw check will be permitted. Draw stops incorporated in the cams of a compound bow are permitted. 

f. A kisser button is not permitted. 

g. One permanent nocking point only, is allowed on the string. The nocking point may be marked by one or two nock locators. 

h. One consistent anchor point only is permitted. 

i. An archer shall touch the arrow when nocked with the index finger against the nock. Finger position may not be changed during competition. In cases of physical deformity or handicap special dispensation shall be made. 

j. All arrows used shall be identical in length, weight, diameter, fletching and nocks, without regard for colour, with allowance for wear and tear. 

k. Brush buttons in their proper places at the recurve tip of the bow, string silencers no closer than twelve inch above or below the nocking point and bow quiver installed on the opposite side of the sight window with no part of the quiver visible in the bow window is permitted. 

l. One straight stabiliser, coupling device included, if used, not exceeding twelve inch as measured from the back of the bow may be used. No forked stabiliser or any counter balance will be legal. The plunger (where the stabiliser is screwed in) is part of the stabiliser. 

m. Draw weight shall not be adjusted during any one round.

Je confirme ce que dit Field.

Si le recurve a une poignée bois, prise de corde mediterranéenne et tapis tu es classé en TRB (Traditional Recurve Bow) .

TRB = poignée bois et ame des branches en bois également.

Si branches ame mousse ou carbone = BR

ok, je mélangeais TBR et BR en IFAA :19:

Ceci dit Zerakiel demandait pour la FFTA, là la catégorie d'arc dépend de la discipline, "Chasse" en 3D et Nature, "Arc Nu" pour les autres tirs.

Il y a peu (un peu plus d'un an) le style de tir TBR n'existait pas , on était donc en Bow Hunter Recurve (BHR) . On se retrouvait donc à tirer avec des classiques (le pianotage en moins)

Comme chez nous on ne fait rien a moitié, surtout au niveau de notre cher FD, il y a quand même un point a noter.

Dans le règlement sportif (nature & 3D) en catégorie "Arc Chasse" il est précisé que :

Seul est autorisé un tapis d’arc, posé directement sur la fenêtre d’origine, ne dépassant pas 5mm d’épaisseur sur le plancher, de n’importe quel matériau doux (cuir ou feutrine). L’épaisseur du tapis de fenêtre est libre, la hauteur maximum autorisée est de 3cm. Aucun autre type de repose flèche n’est autorisé. Les contrôleurs d’allonge sont interdits .

Hors si on consulte le règlement de la World Archery, on y apprend que:

Bref on a encore un machin franco français, rien que pour nous.

On est incapable d'appliquer un règlement international (chose que les autres pays font sans aucun état âme) voir la vidéo de Robion (3D) par exemple

ça c'est pour le "Recurve", notre "Chasse" correspond plutôt" à "Instinctive bow" … à part que pour W.A la poignée doit être majoritairement en bois et qu'on peut mettre un repose flèche sommaire.

"22.4.3.1. The arrow rest can be a simple plastic industry standard glued rest, a feather rest as supplied by the manufacturer or the athlete can use the bow shelf, in which case it may be covered with any type of material (on shelf only). The vertical part of the sight window may be protected by material which shall not raise more than 1 cm above the resting arrow or be thicker than 3 mm, measured from the riser directly adjacent to the material. No other types or arrow rests shall be allowed."

Bien de ton avis, MAIS te souviens-tu de la levée de bouclier lorsque la FFTA a parler de s'aligner sur le règlement international ?

Pour les compétiteurs visant l'international il y a eu le 3DI et le 3D pour le reste des archers. Maintenant la tendance est l'alignement sur la WA. Dur de contenter tout le monde.
